Gary Briggs, the tax administrator for Moore County and retired appraiser Jerry Daeke have an informative discussion that goes a long way to addressing some of the nuts and bolts of our recent 2015 Property Tax Revaluation.

Gary has worked for the Moore County Tax Department since 2007. Jerry has over 40 years of appraising experience and served 4 years on the Town Council of Southern Pines, one year as Mayor Pro Tem and currently serves on the Moore County Board of Commissioners. Jerry has served on the Moore County Tax Equalization and Review Board over the past 15 years. Together these gentleman address many of the misconceptions about revaluation and the procedure of the appeal process.
