15th ANNUAL BLUES CRAWL, SATURDAY, JULY 11th presented by The Sunrise Theatre Special Guest – Baxter Clement

Board member Herb Cameron & John Earp discuss the fast growing downtown Southern Pines event that attracted over 1800 people last year. The Sunrise Theatre is a non-profit organization operating as the Sunrise Preservation Group. The Blues Crawl Event and others like it provide the necessary funding to allow the theatre to provide a diverse variety of entertainment to the Sandhills community.

Tickets can be purchase at etix.com or at the Sunrise Theatre or their website anytime up until the evening of the event. Tickets are $25.00 and provide the ticket holder with access to many different musical events (all within walking distance) of the Sunrise Theatre.

The Arts Council of Moore County presents Ernest Hemingway’s – “PAPA – The man, the myth, the legend”

Actors Jordan Rhodes and Lynn Moore, www.jordanrhodes.com discuss the upcoming film of their critically acclaimed play in tribute to Ernest Hemingway. The film version won the Best Historical Drama Award in the NY International Independent Film Festival. After touring for 7 years, this play has been made into a film and both these articulate and seasoned actors weave some great stories about the play, their careers and the June 12th screening of the movie at the Sunrise Theatre in Southern Pines.
