New Hampshire Ave. in downtown Southern Pines on the evenings of Sept. 11th, 12th & 13th at 7:30 p.m. each evening.
General Admission is $10.00. VIP tickets are $20.00 insuring premium seating and a basket of chef curated snacks and beverages.

Moore Montessori is looking for a new home. Head of School Katherine Rucker and Board Member Taylor Clement join Bill Sahadi to discuss the possibility of moving to the soon-to-be vacant Southern Pines Elementary School Campus on May Street. This deal would present a unique opportunity to preserve the beautiful brick campus that has become a landmark of Southern Pines, maintain the campus as downtown public school and bring exciting educational opportunities and wrap-around services to Southern Pines families.

Moore Montessori (MMCS) is a public charter school in Southern Pines, NC, currently serving students in grades K-3rd. Since founding in 2018, the staff has delivered a high-quality education to a diverse group of students from area. Demand for the school is high: each year hundreds of families apply for the open enrollment lottery for the chance to secure a seat at this desirable public school. One of only 500 public Montessori programs in the United States, the school has a track record of academic success, a racially diverse staff, and economically diverse student body.
Southern Pines native, Annelle Staal is releasing her new single, Record on Replay this weekend. Her new EP, Heart on my Sleeve, is due to be released this April.
Annelle is joined by her 18 year old sister, Adria, who accompanies Annelle on “The Girl I would Be” from her new EP.

Artist Biography
Singer-Songwriter Annelle Staal was discovered in Southern Pines, NC, where her dad was stationed in the military. After being a finalist in the GMA’s 2015 Immerse Songwriting competition and winning the 2016 Dogwood Festival Solo-artist competition, Annelle signed with Redline Entertainment in Nashville. She released her debut Pop EP, “Mars,” in 2017. The songwriter has composed, musically and lyrically, over 200 original songs, performed over 300 live shows and raised over $4,000 through benefit concerts.
Currently working as an independent artist, Annelle has partnered with Grammy-awarding winning producer Andrew Bergthold to release an acoustic musical project in March of 2020. Lyrically intimate and story-driven, the EP takes the listener on an emotional journey through the process of self-acceptance and love.
Annelle has a passion for the youth in her communities, and has led multiple workshops addressing music business and composition for elementary and middle school kids. With a passion for mental wellness and counseling programs, Annelle has partnered with Blue Ridge Hope and holds monthly concerts to raise money and awareness about mental illness.
The songwriter is currently touring North and South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Michigan and Tennessee.
Calli McIntyre first appeared on All Things Moore County in the spring of 2017. Today she is looking forward to her high school graduation and attending The Conservatory of Performing Arts and the honors program at Point Park University in Pittsburgh, to obtain a BFA in musical theatre and a dance minor in jazz. Her mother Noelle is a financial advisor when she is not Calli’s mom. Their relationship is special and their conversation this Mother’s day is a poignant reminder of how quickly time goes by us.
Julia Latham is a non-practicing attorney who has a B.A. in theater and a minor in dance. Julia. She earned her J.D., clerked on the 9-Circuit Court of Appeals, and practiced administrative and environmental law in D.C. and Chicago. She is a current board member of Sandhills Pride, our local LGBTQ advocacy organization. She is also a mother of two boys, Max, age 15 and Nik, age 10. Max attends The O’Neal School and is a member of the Junior Beta Club and is active in the school’s theatre program. Max just finished a service project in which he raised $7000 and distributed books about diversity to 100 primary school classroom classrooms. He is fully enrolled in theatre; both thru the Gary Taylor Dance Studio, the Imagine Youth Theatre’s Broadway program, as well as numerous musical theatre productions. His brother Nik is a 5th grader at The O’Neal School and is also actively involved in the Arts. He has been a member of the Gary Taylor Dance Studio since he was 3, and has studied for two summers at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Nik has also been involved with the Sandhills Repertory Theatre Company and the Imagine Youth Theater Productions.
