A Taste of Moore, a cooking competition featuring local restaurants, to be hosted by Pine Needles this Oct. is discussed. A look at the history and stories of both resorts and and their place in the Southern Pines & Pinehurst culture are shared as well as information on the reprinted & updated book detailing this history, Sandhills Classics, a story about the Cosgroves of Mid Pines, Peggy Kirk Bell and Bullet Bell of Pine Needles and how the resorts have evolved into their present day stature.
