Candidates from both the Town of Aberdeen and the Village of Whispering Pines join us to introduce themselves to the voters with an overview about their reasons for seeking office and an overview about their positions on the issues affecting the residents of their communities.

ABERDEEN TOWN COMMISSION RACE CANDIDATES

ABERDEEN TOWN COMMISSION RACE CANDIDATE FORUM

The “All Things Moore County” program this morning is a Candidate Forum for the Aberdeen Town Commission race in the upcoming municipal election on Tuesday Nov. 7th. Over the past two weeks we have had the Southern Pines and Pinehurst Candidate Forums on the air. You can hear those program podcasts by going to weeb990.com or allthingsmoorecounty.com and click on radio. I also want to remind you that early voting at the Ag Center in Carthage will close at 1 pm this afternoon.

There will be six candidates on the Aberdeen ballot; for mayor, Robbie Farrell (running for re-election) and Ron Utley. For Town Commissioner; there are four candidates running for two seats. They include incumbent Joe Dannelley, Bryan Bowles, Wilma Laney and Frankie Holt. Four of the candidates are with us this morning.
