Their grand opening is Saturday, Sept. 26^th.

ALFRED HITCHCOCK’S THE 39 STEPS AT THE ENCORE CENTER – Sept. 11th, 12th, & 13th

Artistic Director Greta Zandstra & Educational & Associate Artistic Director Jacob Toth speak about the upcoming outdoor production of Hitchcock’s THE 39 STEPS to be held behind the Encore Center located at 160 E. New Hampshire Ave. in downtown Southern Pines on the evenings of Sept. 11^th, 12^th & 13^th at 7:30 p.m. each evening.

General Admission is $10.00. VIP tickets are $20.00 insuring premium seating and a basket of chef curated snacks and beverages.

Special seating arrangements and safety precautions will be in place for all attending guests.

Christmas for Moore is kicking off their registration for sponsors and donors for families in need this Christmas season.
Emeritus Board Member Myron Dice talks about the program and the logistics required to continue to provide for needy families this upcoming Christmas season.

Ross, his wife, Capel. and infant daughter, left NYC at the end of March to return to N.C. and Capel’s roots. Working remotely was an easy choice for this family and Ross discusses the challenges and rewards of the temporary exodus from Manhattan, due to the COVID crisis, and a spring and summer season living on the NC Coast and the Southern Pines area.

Marketing & sales manager Clay Singletary discusses the surge in new residential pool construction in Moore County since 2018. (over 80 pools built in the last 3 years).

Residential pools have increased in popularity due to many factors which include changing demographics, the high cost of pool memberships that are attached to general golf club memberships, and the pandemic which has put a bit of a damper on community pools accessibility.

Clay discusses the difference between the many types of pools and their maintenance guidelines.
