Patty Eder’s daughter, Rhonda, is joined by Kyle Walker and lifelong Carthage resident and Fore Properties real estate broker, Victoria Riddle, to discuss the upcoming event at the Eder’s 134 acre farm at 644 Niagara Carthage Rd.

This tractor show features a priceless collection of fully operational tractors, food & antique vendors for a 3 day celebration.

This rare collection draws over 8000 people each year.

Tickets are $15.00 per day or $25.00 for a two day pass and $35.00 for a 3 day pass.  Parking is free.

25TH ANNIVERSARY – BOYS & GIRLS CLUB OF THE SANDHILLS

CEO Steve Kastner & Resource & Development Director, John Earp discusses the value and growth of the Boys & Girls Club since it’s inception in Moore County in 1997.

They touch on the programs and philosophies utilized for children ages 5 – right up thru high school age.

 

8-year-old 3rd grader Quinn Klozarski & 7 year old 2nd grader C.J. Fox say more than any adult could!

The quarter century gala event will be held Oct. 19th at the Carolina Hotel’s Grand Ballroom and is sponsored by Lin Hutaff of Lin Hutaff’s Pinehurst Realty Group.

PINEHURST MUNICIPAL ELECTION – 2023 CANDIDATE FORUM & WOMEN OF THE PINES

The Pinehurst Candidate Forum is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 17th at the Village Hall. Bob Barmore discusses what is on the docket for that evening as well as general voting changes and tips. The event will feature all 3 Mayoral candidates and the 5 candidates running for two seats on the Village Council.

WOMEN OF THE PINES

President Barbara Summers is joined by committee heads, Beth Van Vooren, Kate Len, Mary Hilgenberg To discuss the upcoming fundraiser (Bake Sale & Bling) on Saturday, Oct. 1st as well and numerous upcoming events thru April 2024.

The Bake Sale will be held at the Sandhills Women’s Exchange at 15 Azalea Rd. in Pinehurst. The Women of the Pines raises money all year round to solely benefit non-profit agencies in need of funds. Women of the Pines was founded in 1974 so 2024 marks their 50th Anniversary of being great caregivers to Moore County.
