WEEB 990 AM Talk Show “All Things Real Estate” to become “All Things Moore County” in 2011.

Talk Radio 990 WEEB is pleased to announce that their weekend talk show, “All Things Real Estate” will be renamed “All Things Moore County” starting in early 2011.

The show has been on the air since August 2009, and has dealt with straight talk about the Moore County real estate market and valuable information for people considering buyer, selling or renovating their homes. The show has also focused on the many related community & neighborhood projects which make Moore County such a great place to live.

In 2011, the new format will allow a broader range of subjects to be covered including real estate, local business, community projects & neighborhood related subjects that comprise the Moore County living experience. The show is hosted by Bill Sahadi of Fore Properties Realty Inc. of Southern Pines.

General manager and station owner Steve Adams says,

“The show will continue to air on Saturday mornings from 10:05 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. and Sunday evenings from 8:05 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Bill does a great job, and the new show will allow Bill to expand the show into new areas that will interest a wider audience and serve the community needs and interest to a greater degree. We have a so many interesting people living here, doing great thing for our community, and this will afford them a forum to inform the public, and inspire others to get involved with the quality of lifestyle we all enjoy here in the Sandhills.”

Communities in Schools – A Moore County Treasure to Our Students

Cynthia Bradley, Executive Director of Communities in Schools, Rollie Sampson, Director of Community Development & Administration & Kathy Byron, Director, FirstSchool Garden Program & past Board Chair of CIS, discuss the vital role that Communities in Schools play in the lives of our student citizens through their various programs. The new grant given to the FirstSchool Garden program is discussed in detail as is the CIS largest fundraiser, Dancing with the Stars, to be held on Jan. 30, 2011.
