Guest speakers Kim Sobat, Frank Pierce and Laura George discussed the changing landscape in the visual art business and what artists and galleries now do to keep pace and sell their artwork.

Kim Sobat is a local artist and former gallery owner. Her abstract and impressionistic paintings have been featured in many Moore County locations including the Arts Council, Eye Candy Gallery, Artist Alley, The Artist

Laura C. George is a printmaker and business coach for artists. Laura liberates and energizes artists who feel stuck, arming them with the knowledge they need to create a career that supports them emotionally and

Frank Pierce has an extensive background as a fine artist, freelance photographer, illustrator, graphic designer and owner of Eye Candy Gallery in Southern Pines.
